As well as working with Maharam's collaborators over the past 10 years, it's been a pleasure to also delve into the heart of Maharam, looking at the inner workings of their New York studio and their warehouse located in Yaphank. Both filled to the brim with textiles and history all imbued with their forward thinking approach to design. It's a place I always enjoy coming back to, meeting the workers who build up the Maharam family and being able to search these intimate settings at their beating heart for moments often missed, both build up an important part of our ongoing collaboration.
