Between 2022-24, Alma Haser and I have collaborated on Maharam’s print advertising campaigns. Inviting a close look at Maharam textiles in unexpected settings, we have travelled from the rugged landscape of Scotland’s Isle of Skye all the way to the soaring blue skies of Puglia in Italy. Combining material sculpture, collage and photography, we manipulate textures and images to produce surrealist portraits of Maharam’s work that both inspire and intrigue.
