It was great to see the release of Maharam's micro-site featuring my photographs of acclaimed British textile designer and artist Sheila Hicks for her collaboration with Knoll Textiles. It's always interesting to see how my photographs are applied, ultimately I would like to see my photography in print but as times have changed and continue to change there is more and more chance I'm going to see the work in a digital context and I find and am most satisfied when its best handled by people like Maharam. They present objects like these microsites, it has a sensitivity and symbiotic sensibility to the work, allowing the photographs to sit naturally and feel at home.
