The Honved Fencing club in Budapest is a converted synagogue, now home to extraordinary fencing legacy, with an impressive number of female fencing champions.
Every day at 4pm, the space is filled with kids aged between six and 16 for regular training as fencing cadets. Seeing female fencers is rather new, as in recent history this sport was considered too dangerous for the gender by traditionalists.
This project was featured on Avaunt Magazine, in their Spring Issue 2016.
